Day 25 - My act of rebellion against patriarchal motherhood?
Continuing to prioritise my weird by taking photos of myself without a bra on and turning it into a collage that represents continued transformation into my true essence.
Take that! 😂😂😂.
This piece I call 'Flower Boobs'. Ha ha ha.
I recently found the glorious human that is @gabriellarosie and I was instantly drawn to how unapologetically she creates what she wants to see in the world and lives her life in such an expressed way.
I knew I wanted into her world straight away he he. I joined her membership, The Creatrix Coven.
Yesterday was my first zoom call. In true Jess form (I’m learning to get better at this), I didn’t say as much as I would have liked about who I was and the projects I want to get my teeth stuck into for this year. However, I felt super welcomed and excited to share my ideas, my work and celebrate members in what they are creating and moving through.
The version of me a few years ago, deep in PNDA (sleep deprived and watching series on Netflix that kept me in a highly stressed state - and the rest), would never have thought she was worthy of investing in herself in this way.
Definitely need to celebrate myself today for how far I have come. Feeling ✨ joyful ✨, ✨ inspired ✨, and hungry to keep creating and learning about different mediums.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it a million times more, HOW FUN IS CANVA? 😍😂.
What is your favourite act of rebellion at the moment?
