Day 21 - Hot for my guy

Did I really just say this on the internet and be totally ok with it?

Yup 🤣.

Something that was super important to me after I birthed Miss E, was consciously looking for or creating joyful and funny moments with Mitch.

I wanted to make sure we stayed connected, present and had fun within the transition (because of course there were also going to be challenging times too).

Yesterday we were playing with Lego. Well, I was breastfeeding, Mr F was cycling between playing with a motorbike and a Lego airplane and Mitch was building with Lego.

Mitch: ‘Ok Jess, name anything for me to build and I will build it.’

Me: ‘Mmmm… What about a Unicorn Pizza Oven?’

Mitch: ‘Coming right up.’

Then a little while later, boom! 🦄🍕People he actually did it! Swipe for the Pizza Oven AND a car he had been working on 😂.

I was beyond ✨ impressed ✨ and Mr F LOVED Daddy’s creation! He was so excited to play with it and help the little Lego people make pizza lol.

THEN Mr F wanted homemade pizza for dinner. So I improvised with what we had already planned and he helped me make a Spag Bol 🍝pizza 🍕 (spag bol sauce and mince with parmesan on a pizza base he he).

All up, it was an absolutely glorious afternoon! He he.

There are so many reasons why I feel more in love with hubs than ever, and definitely something to further unpack throughout these 90 Emotional Days or even after in a longer blog; but being mentally able to remain present and adaptable more often with my family at the moment has been absolutely glorious!

Plus DAMN how can you not be so gloriously in love with someone who made you a UNICORN Pizza Oven!!! 😂
